ICON COMPREHENSION GUIDE
ENVIRONMENT
Each Briko lens has been designed and made
for use in a specifi c environment: in the
mountains, on land or near water.
BRIGHTNESS
The icons depict the various brightness
conditions: intense, medium-high, medium
and poor.
TREATMENTS
Mirrored: special mirroring treatment that
allows excessive light to be refl ected, thus
increasing visual comfort.
Antifog: treatment that prevents the lenses
to mist up, thus preventing visibility problems
in critical conditions.
LIGHT TRANSMISSION
The value indicates the percentage of light
that the lens lets pass through: the higher the
value, the less quantity of light that the lens
absorbs.
FILTER CATEGORY
Value assigned by the European standards to
identify the lens absorption range: the higher
its value, the greater the amount of light that
the lens absorbs and the less light it lets pass
through.
